Abstract: Cytoskeleton-associated protein 4 (CKAP4), also known as p63, is a non-glycosylated type Ⅱ membrane protein. Expression of CKAP4 in tissues, cells and serum can be used as a diagnostic marker for a variety of tumors, and has a certain correlation with the prognosis of these tumors. This article reviews the subtype and function of CKAP4, as well as its research and application as a diagnostic and prognostic indicator of tumor.

Key words: cytoskeleton-associated protein 4 (CKAP4), p63, tumor marker, diagnosis, prognosis
