Abstract:

Ovarian function, also known as ovarian reserves, plays an important role in keeping normal physiological function for women. At present, there have been many methods for detecting ovarian function, and the combined multiple predictors used for prediction of ovarian reserves demonstrate clinic significance. Nowadays the related researches on the methods used for detecting ovarian function are mainly associated with assisted reproductive technology, while fewer researches are conducted on the ovarian function of specific age group, especially on that of perimenopausal women. Exploring the ovarian reserves of perimenopausal women may have important clinical significance in relieving symptoms of climacteric melancholia and preventing related diseases such as osteoporosis.

Key words: ovarian reserve, perimenopausal period, premature ovarian failure
