A cross cut was made at the thinnest part of the blind ending fallopian tube, gently extended up to 1.5 cm in order to form 4 fimbrial flaps, and sutured to the serosal layer. B. The method of salpingectomy. The mesosalpinx was cut just below the fallopian tube by using an ultrasonic device in order to prevent injury of the blood supply to the ipsilateral ovary, and the fallopian tube was resected close to the interstitial part.
