Into prevent and control infectious diseases, the effective measures are identifying the animals serving as the source and intermediate hosts and interrupting the transmission pathways. They are thus highly significant in the prevention of epidemic recurrence and the protection of public health security in society. This article summarizes the latest developments in the research on transmission hosts of SARS-CoV-2, and makes the inference of potentially-multiple transmission hosts based on the facts current epidemic.
