Clinical and pathological analysis of one case of multiple malignant glomus tumor

Abstract: Malignant glomus tumor (MGT) is a kind of malignant stromal tumor derived perivascular glomus. Clinically, glomus tumors are mostly benign, malignant and multiple ones are rarely reported. This study reviewed one case of multiple MGT. The lesions were discovered successively in a 75-year-old woman′s breast, ileum, brain and colon. According to the result of histomorphology and immunohistochemistry, the lesions in the four organs were diagnosed as MGT. Suffered MGT in successive sites, the patient is still alive to date after all of tumors were resected.
