One case report of successful removal of giant schwannoma compressing medulla oblongata

Abstract:

Giant schwannoma compressing medulla oblongata is rare. There is a great risk of removal of the tumor. This paper reported a case of giant schwannoma compressing medulla oblongata. Under general anaesthesia, the patient underwent successful tumor resection in brainstem area. The patient experienced favorable recovery.
